This trial is a joke. That criminal killed himself with all the drugs in his system. This is our courts bowing down to stupid woke people who do nothing but destroy America. They don’t work or do anything to better themselves. Lazy freeloaders .

I agree with Jim. Floyd was on drugs, and apparently not well, maybe feeling sick to his stomach. His death was unfortunate, and unintentional. We should hear more noise, when good officers are killed in the line of duty by evil people. Radical Islamists are guilty of murder consistently, but in some manner, they find some excuse or justification for their evil deeds. The jury may feel obligated to give Mr. Chauvin some time, but I hope it isn’t severe.

According to the autopsy, the use of a tazer may well have killed george floyd if it had been used, his heart was in terrible condition because of HIS EXCESSIVE USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS, which the autopsy showed to be the DIRECT CAUSE OF DEATH!!
SOCIALIST LIKE TO “ABORT” INNOCENT UNBORN BABIES, ARE THEY NOW GOING TO “ABORT” LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS? THIS IS JUST ANOTHER CLEAR CASE OF JUST HOW CORRUPT OUR (UN) JUSTICE SYSTEM REALLY IS

I support and follow the laws of our constitution and I support those who enforce our laws, knees to the neck, choke holds, beatings with night sticks, only if ones life is in danger should extreme force be used. I think the taser is the most effective method and should be used first to subdue a suspect that is not complying when being asked to. If all of the individuals that have died due to police actions would have complied first, they would be alive today. There is bad cops, but there is alot more bad people committing crimes.

Sad for the death of Mr Floyd: sad for the police officers who arrested him. The choke hold, the knee at the neck and the tazer gun have had good or bad turn: especially if you don’t know the medical condition of the man or woman being apprehend. We need to get in the mind of the officer and of the detainee: balance between thus finding out the truth: was the officer over zeal in his apprehension or was the detainee so messed up with drugs and medical condition that he was wired out : thus resistant to the command of the officer to get in the car: or trying to escape from going to jail: because of his job. When all is done because of political correctness groups: chauvin will be sentenced for doing a job; many go daily to from their home : trying to secure, save lives and keep our streets free from criminals. Sad for all involve. It’s the pit or the pendulum ; swinging and justice for all should be blind with no prejudice to the men and women who must decide.

if you put your knee on someone’s neck they are going to stop breathing and kill them right away. The officer should not have done that.

IRENE, you would do well to check and find what proper procedure is when putting handcuffs on someone whose resisting arrest. As I mentioned before, it would be nice to see what led up to the only pictures we see. The knee on the neck. Some time ago I saw one very short report on the news very early one morning that Floyd was resisting arrest. One very big problem law enforcement has to face is that they have to be entirely too gentle.

I feel what led up to the arrest and the actual arrest should be shown. All we see is a knee on the neck. One report showed a bunch of cops hiding behind their cars. WHY? If it wasn’t something really serious why were they hiding? Just like the Rodney King arrest in Los Angeles several years ago. All we saw was cops beating him on the legs with their batons. Several years ago in a different area I saw the entire event on TV. King was lucky he wasn’t shot because he came out of his car like a bull moose going after the arresting officers. Could this be the same? Personally, I feel the trial is a waste of time and money. Chauvin has been found guilty with no trial. What ever became of being innocent until proven guilty?

Chauvin was already tried and found guilty by the media, BLM and other social groups. This Country needs to get back to the rule of law as put forth by our forefathers. If that does not happen our Country will cease to exist as the United States of America. We need our Country back, the laws that help maintain the peace and our faith. Without these we are no better than the socialist and communism in the world.

Stop using Chauvin as a pawn.

The only ones that would think he should not be found guilty are either racist, dumb. In other words right wing nut jobs.
What a load of crap. Any clear thinking person can plainly see he is guilty. One doesn’t need to be influenced by any of those groups mention to see what is clear as day.
You talk of rule of laws and our forefathers. More nonsense. Our forefathers would not think police are supposed to be judge, jury, and executioner. Now Communism? Ha laughable. You know what kind of countries have police that murder? Communist ones, yet in your little mind you think police that do this over here are acceptable.

You make no sense. You say I’m biased towards the police, yet I have gave no clear thinking person any reason to think this. Fact? The facts tell us it is not police policy to put a knee on anyone’s neck. Fact this POS cop had his knee on his neck for almost 9 minutes. Those are the facts, and this shows how stupid you are.

It is apparent to me that not one of the people commenting here has seen the entirety of the footage from the police body cams. Floyd was put in the back of a police car and was obviously struggling with some issue. He kept begging the police to let him lay down, so, he was removed from the car and they layed him on the ground. Chauvin positioned himself over Floyd to prevent him from suddenly rolling and jumping up to run. This is a standard position to maintain control of the subject. The autopsy results show no evidence of suffocation, they show a man who died due to a drug overdose and a bad heart due to the use of drugs. The only thing Chauvin is guilty of is failure to render aid to a man who was struggling with some issue. These are the facts.

It is apparent to me that u have no idea what u r talking about.
The footage shows us his neck was knelled on for about 9 minutes.
G.F was face down an handcuffed there was no reason to kneel on him. Just think how hard it would be to get up and run while face down and handcuffed.
There were 2 autopsies and neither one said he died from a drug overdose. In both the cause of death was listed a homicide. The listings on the autopsies were Floyd died of asphyxiation, or suffocation, and “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law-enforcement subdual restraint, and neck compression,” which occurred while Floyd was being “restrained.”

You have not shown any facts, or used any good reasoning. I have shown the facts.
